Certificates of Origin -
Without Transit / With Transhipment CO (CT)

For shipments exported from Mainland China (or other country) DIRECTLY to another country without transit or with transhipment in Hong Kong.

Many exporters or logistics companies in Hong Kong have exports directly from China to overseas. They apply CT from the Chamber to certify their exported goods are of China origin and under their company names.

How to Apply

1. Preparation of Documents

Any Hong Kong company with a valid Hong Kong Business Registration (BR) Certificate is eligible to apply. Documentary requirements are as follows.

  1. A completed application form (D4); and
  2. Certificate of origin issued in the originating country, or
    Supplier invoice issued in the originating country plus transport documents (B/L or AWB etc.); and
  3. Other documents that the Chamber may deem necessary.
Transhipment
WebCO

Web CO is an online service for users to prepare and submit CR and CT applications. The service also provides users with a pre-lodgment checking to reduce travelling time spent on making corrections. With the service, application can be completed in 2 minutes.

2. Lodgment

Prepared documents together with payment should be sent to one of the certification branches.
